Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information (including name, address, and email).

Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Product Descriptions: We strive to display our instruments (guzheng, pipa, dizi, and others) as accurately as possible. However, due to screen settings, lighting, and other factors, actual colours may differ slightly from what is shown.

Handcrafted Nature: Our instruments are largely handcrafted, making each piece unique. Minor variations in wood grain, colour depth, and finish are not defects but the hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.

Accuracy of Information: We endeavor to ensure all product information is accurate, but we do not warrant that descriptions, images, or other content are entirely error‑free. If you have any questions, please contact us before purchasing.

Order Submission: Your submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products.

Contract Formation: Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. We accept your order only when we send a shipping confirmation email, at which point a binding contract is formed.

Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order, we will issue a full refund of any amounts paid.

Pricing: All product prices are listed in USD. Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price confirmed at the time of your order will be honoured.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, Shop Pay, and other methods as indicated at checkout. You warrant that your payment method is valid and that you are authorised to use it.

Payment Security: Your payment information is encrypted; we do not store your full credit card details

Shipping Time: Our instruments are shipped directly from our artisans' workshop to ensure freshness and final professional tuning. Standard shipping takes 6–8 weeks. Actual delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs clearance, weather, and other factors.

Customs Duties & Taxes: Any import duties, customs fees, and taxes levied on your order are the responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to estimate these charges; we recommend that you check with your local customs authority before purchasing.

Order Tracking: Once your order ships, we will email you a tracking number.

Important: Please inspect the outer packaging upon delivery. If you notice severe damage, take photos, refuse delivery, and contact us immediately.

• Return Period: You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your instrument (based on the delivery date).

​

• Return Conditions: Returned instruments must be in original packaging with all accessories intact, unused, undamaged, and free of scratches. Custom or personalised instruments (e.g., engraved, custom‑sized) are non‑returnable unless they have a manufacturing defect.

• Return Process: To initiate a return, contact us at support@seriyue.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.

​

• Return Shipping Costs: If the return is due to a quality issue (e.g., cracked soundboard, warping, or severe intonation problems), we will cover the return shipping. For other reasons (e.g., change of mind, colour variation), return shipping costs are borne by you.

• Refunds: After we receive and inspect the returned instrument, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 5–15 business days.

All content on this Site – including text, images, graphics, logos, audio clips, video clips, and software – is the property of Seriyue or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

“As‑Is” Basis: This Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

No Suitability Warranty: We do not warrant that the products will meet your specific needs, expectations, or playing level. Tone and feel are subjective; please make your own informed decision before purchasing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seriyue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

You agree to indemnify and hold Seriyue and its affiliates, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.
